Before joining Kanoodle, Doug was Senior Vice President, Partner Development and Operations for About, Inc. While there, he helped grow the Luna Network, a start up ad network based on niche site partnerships, to over one billion ad impressions per month. The Luna Network later merged into Sprinks, where Perlson acted as Senior Vice President of Partner Development and Operations, responsible for developing and managing the Sprinks distribution network as well as other key partnerships and operational responsibilities.

Perlson also has founded and consulted to several online and traditional small businesses. He is a licensed attorney, and has served as Counsel and Chief of Staff to several elected officials, and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York. Doug earned a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
