It's a fascinating conversation. However, as Brad said, it's very much SEO Black Hat.
I don't do well with complicated things...I do like the idea of something that assists in content generation. I don't like the idea of something that scrapes (steals) the work of others and justifies it "because it's Google's business model".
I will keep my eyes open for options that don't violate my conscience.

Articlebot is a very cool piece of software. The color o the hat depends on how you use it.
Run a list of unedited keywords through it and put it up as is (ie Amazing Keyword1 Resources) and you've lost the long term benefits.
However, if you set it up properly, and take some time to learn it. (Yes, it takes time to learn it). You will start to love what it can do.
Just wrote a review on it for my site:

Cheers,
Andrew

Article Bot sounds very interesting. But I am trying to understand:
Article Bot will generate a lot of keyword rich and search engine friendly pages. But don't I still need to get those pages to rank on the search engines, and get people to click through to them?

This is cutting edge software, and it does have a learning curve...but what software doesn't. It also has the potential to be abused, which is mainly where the problem will lie. You don't have to scrape content-it's an option, I wouldn't advise it.

This idea while clever, lowers the whole value of written language. It's the logical conclution of hiring a free lance writer to generate content but I feel this crosses some kind of line. Imagine searching for helpful content only to find you're reading article after article written by a computer program. I'd feel like I was trapped in the Matrix.

Can someone explain why this software is "cutting edge" ???
I have just watched two tutorials on it, it is very simple, it is little more than a glorified Find and Replace tool like you get on Notepad with a dictionary built bolted on, - is it worth $100 per month?? - well only if you are a compoete idiot IMO.

I have had to add another comment, I have just imported a document into word and ran throught it - same as you have to do with Article bot - and simply right clicked and changed words using word's thesarus feature - the results are THE SAME as article bot - I am still laughing over the "cutting edge" claims - what are you guys smoking??? |

Simon the fact that you made these statements shows that you are totaly ignorant of what articlebot is and does.
Sorry to put it that way but there is no other way to put it,
