Great to hear of someone that overstepped the line, and what he did to keep his business running.

He has lots of ideas on how to get independent from the search engines. He only lost 7% of his business when he got banned by google. Thus his linking strategies are giving him good quality traffic to his sites.

So it was a good perspective on linking for traffic rather than just for PR.

His two rules were content and links to get great traffic.

Thanks Brad and Glen

It's always good to know of other traffic sources in case Google drops the hammer on your site. However, it's obvious from my perspective that it won't be long before Google takes over the whole internet, and eventually the world.

So I'm stickin to 'Google Mastery' as much as humanly possible (based on the limited data they'll provide) but won't ignore the other possibilities.
