Hello fellow Stompers! Very Happy

Merry Christmas and a Happy Womp-em Stomp-em New Year! Here's a Stompers Update!

If you get this more than once please don't be dismayed.
I'm posting it to all the stomper blogs I can find so that everyone is sure to get the good news.

Proof positive that Stomping works!

You may recall my post back on October 4th, 2004 @ 09:35 PM ??? (see quote below)

Well since then the Dinosaur Birthday Party site has gone to # 1 for the search term "Dinosaur Birthday Party" in Yahoo and the alternate Dinosaur Birthday Party is # 2. !!!

I'm still not showing up in Google for Dinosaur Birthday Party, but I am # 1 for the single word term "DinosaurBirhdayParty". I think the lesson here is that it would have been better to hyphenate the domain name to read "Dinosaur-Birthday-Party".

I also want to thank those Stompers who helped win the Dinosaur Birthday Party top spot by posting to the Dinosaur Birthday Party Blog. You helped me AND you helped yourself because the Dinosaur Birthday Party Blog is also moving up in PR.

For all you new stompers, and those that didn't post before, If you want to add some PR value to a page on your web site, I invite you to read, link and post an appropriate comment at

Dinosaur Birthday Party "Blogger-to-Blogger"

and also at

Dinosaur Birthday Party "Links-Welcome".

Brad's work has sparked a lot of related SEO options to help you get more traffic and higher SEPR. I think it's great that stompers can help others and themselves by simply posting to other sites that understand the process.

Happy Holidays and Keep Stomping!

Does anyone know if powerlinks.com can help in optimizing ebay stores. I am trying to find a specialist in that area. I emailed powerlinks several times about the issue but no response yet. Well maybe there can't or may be they are rethinking there strategy as they perhaps have come under scrutiny by Google! Is it true if all your links are from the same host that google will ban you.Is this the case with powerlinks.com

I am personally staying away from powerlinks for the moment. I know we are all looking for a quicker, easier way to exchange links but I would sure hate to jump into a link farm.

There are enough other ways to get penalized without adding link laziness to the mix.

Will wait for further data.

Powerlinks does make me a bit nervous, too. Does anyone have any personal results with Powerlinks?

You know, I am also wondering about Powerlinks. I know someone that received 1000 plus links in other a month.. but - it seems to me that all powerlinks users link to all other powerlinks users and that its very much a sort of link farm.

Wonder if anyone else has any knowledge of this product?

A link farm is a website full of nothing but links. PowerLinks.com is nothing like that. ALl of their members have legitimate websites, and PowerLinks.com is simply a link exchange network that connects them all together. It's really no different than if you were exchanging links manually by yourself - just a lot less tedious.

Check out the relevancy filters. They allow you to deny trades with any of the members in the directory if you so desire. I've been using the program since August, and I am now #1 on Google under my preferred keywords.

A friend of mine tried powerlinks and considers it a waste of money. They had plenty of links on the link service, but no boost in search engine visibility.

You don't "try" a link exchange for a few minths and decide it's a waste. You stick with it for at least 12 months to see if it helps you boost your link popularity. Of course it will!

I've been using PowerLinks.com for seven months now and my PageRank went from a PR2 to a PR5, and my backlinks went from 12 to 189 on Google. I am now at #3 on my preferred keywords. When I started with PowerLinks.com it was at #87.

Try Linkfoundry.com It's like powerlinks but better. Allows themed link exchanges if you want using filters.

It also has built in safeguards against the dup content filter --- something powerlinks is sorely missing.

And best of all, it's FREE right now while they are in beta.
