In this show, Brad spoke with Doug Perlson of Kanoodle, a rapidly growing payu-per-click (PPC) advertising service.

Doug discussed Kanoodle approach to contextual pay-per-click advertising -- the placing of ads on web pages that are targeted to the content of those pages. Doug explained the differences between the various products offered by Kanoodle: keyword search, contextual, behavioral, and local. Doug also outlines some of the differences between Kanoodle's approach and that of Google and Overture PPC products.

Doug also mentioned that "very soon" Kanoodle will be launched a self-serve program for smaller web site publishers -- essentially Kanoodle's own version of Google AdSense. He mentioned Kanoodle will have a strict review process for accepting publishers into the program.

I had never even heard of Kanoodle prior to this interview. Yet I'd been running PPC campaigns with Google for a year now.

Maybe I had google myopia!

I've used Kanoodle a little. The traffic wasn't that great although conversion rates were decent.
