In this show, Brad spoke with the founder of PR Web, David McInnis. PR Web offer press release distribution services that pay close attention to search engine optimization. For example, optimizing press releases to rank well in Google News and Yahoo! news. Another SEO angle to press release distribution is the link building potential - by embedding links with anchor text, your links will be included in the archives on PR Web and on any other site who picks the release for publication. David told a story about a client who was able to achieve a Google PageRank 5 on the strength of a single press release. Many of the companies I work for uses PR Web services. My question has to do with using HTML in the press release. When using your free service to submit a release it says not to use HTML tags. What are the guidlines on this? Thanks Jared Emin Florida's Refinance Mortgage Center
