Using press releases is a really good idea, and is pretty similar to article submissions. Both should be an active part of one's marketing campaign.

I've been using Press releases for about 9 years now.

What I like about this interview is that I've learnt how to send the releases to a worldwide audience, and perhaps get them listed on things like Google News. It's great because of the PR advantages and of course the potential of getting the story published.
